PO

I have become Po beyond belief. 4.72$ is all there is. Although this is actually kind of good because it has forced me to sell off items no longer needed or used. EBay has become my friend, making ends meet is giving me something to do in these last few days of class. Last night Kelsey and I joined a few friends at Crazy 8s (a dance club in Spokane) it was surprisingly fun. It defiantly helped that I was drinking the whole way there. lol when I have more money I think I might even enjoy going back. but any way only 13 more days left till class is out and I still don’t know where I’m going to be for the summer or what I’m going to do, and for that matter where I’m going to live next year. Luckily next Saturday I have another raft guide opportunity. Hopefully it works out and I make some money and get a job for the summer. So cross your fingers oh and while your at it hope for good weather on Sunday were going camping and I don’t feel like being rained on.

Chapman Lake

(rember to click pics to see a bigger version.)

I was just about to blog about my day yesterday but i noticed kels already did all the work so ill just repost what she did with some "adjustments"
Yesterday was an exciting day.
We drove out to Chatman Lake. When there got told to go away by some hicks because there is only one "real" entrence to lake, but that was closed off to anyone who did not live there.
Once we found the "other" entrence we hiked quiet a ways through the woods (it would have been perfactly fine if kels would had know we were walking a long ways (flip-flops=bad hicking shoes)). my bad oops
Anyways we made it to the lake and it was B-E-A-utiful! Cristal Clear, extremly remote, and just freaking awsome :) . i among others went cliff jumping (30+ feet!!! O_O) ~props to Suzanne.. took her 20 mins to jump but she over came her fear~.

Taunja and Amber were less then entertained for some reason, so they left. They had left an hour before we did, yet, when we made it back to the car they had not.
This meaning that they were lost. Lucky for us Will and Suzanne had taken first responder class, so they knew exactly what to do. We sent the car to search the roads and we split up in groups of two. We went out for five mins, calling their names, and came back.
Once we got back they had been found woundering the roads. Turns out the had gone the compete opposite way they were suppose to.
I hope that one day we can go out and go camping on the lake. Sounds like it would be super fun. Anyways I plan to go camping sometime soon
oh hey ike the lay out was just for you i hope i did well.

Its official

I got the job, im a raft guide! this saturday is my first day. Im so nervous!

busy but not really

A lot has happened since I last actually posted. Last weekend I went to the west side and drug Kelsey along. She met my family and a few friends (Kira Ike and the South Lake Crew) we went climbing and just hung out. it was really nice to see the green side of the state again. Then another boring week of school. I finally got a call back from the raft company that I have been trying to get a job with. They offered me a position here on the Spokane river for the next month and a possible position on the Clark fork for the summer. So if I do well here I might go there. So wish me luck! If I don’t get the job who knows what ill do for the summer, I also still need to figure out where I’m going to live next year, but that can be put off for another day...lol. This last weekend was pretty fun Kels and I went swing dancing with Taunja and Amber. I realized I don’t remember anything I was taught back in the day so I looked like a big goof but it still was fun. We came back and went to bed at 1am and didn’t get up till 5:30PM the next day! I've never been so lazy in my life. But it was nice. At some point during the weekend Kels and I got the odd idea that it would be fun to buy gold fish to release into the fountain on campus. At the time it sounded fun so an hour later we had new fishy friends and they were liberated into a fountain that probably killed them soon after. I went to check on them today and there was no sign so all 10 must have given in to some horrible death. Tear RIP little buddies. Now I think I'm coming down with something I hope it doesn’t last long cause I'm tired of being sick and I'm ready to enjoy the sun. Oh I also got a hair cut this weekend, It was quite an adventure Kelsey decided she had seen hair cut before so that meant that she could cut mine….surprisingly it came out pretty good plus it was free so I cant complain too much.

Lochsaw

Just what the doctor ordered. I went rafting and all my troubles were sucked into a hole the size of a house. Literally we saw a hole on the river the size of a house! lol This was the most intense river I have ever been on. It’s a class 4 gradient, 14 mile section in southern Idaho. So that means it’s BIG. We lost 8 people in separate rapids stood a 16' boat vertical on a 6'standing wave, taco’ed a 14' over inflated raft. These are all things that you aren’t supposed to be able to do, but some big water and experienced boaters can make miracles happen.
